about rtama

Rtama is a knitwear brand based in Milan. Every piece is manufactured by local artisans committed to delivering the best quality in each item, putting their effort and time into making every stitch unforgettable and unique. The manufacturing process is artisanal and impossible to replicate, therefore, while each design can be reproduced, the fabric will never be the same twice. We use a one bed knitting machine to make our pieces, and we manually join them with crochet or metallic rings, which we operate using pliers. 

The project started in Barcelona in 2023 from Marta Mangano's graduate collection, thanks to the Catalan music and arts community that saw the vision and helped spread the word about our way of seeing fashion and the relationship between our body and the garments we use.
